Tragic Accident Claims Lives of Two Young Salesians Near Guwahati
Guwahati, Aug 29 Two young Salesians, Fr. Ekka Rajesh and Cl. Toppo Vijay, of Don Bosco Tura, Meghalaya, died in a tragic jeep accident near Boko, Assam at about 8.45 p.m. on 28th August 2010. Hyderabad, Aug 27 Fr Raminedi Balaraju, the Provincial and the whole province was shocked to hear sad news of the sudden demise of Most Rev. Marampudi Joji D.D, the Arch Bishop of Hyderabad, a great friend of Salesians. We pay homage with profound gratitude and deep sorrow. Not only, he has also published a book to mark the occasion. Salesian priest Prof. Scaria Thuruthiyil former dean of the Philosophy Faculty at the Salesian University (UPS) Rome is currently in Lammerspiel in Muhlheim near Frankfurt.
